Primary mission of Vision Beyond the Cane

Resource Center for the Blind and Visually

Impaired is to ensure that all adults who

are blind or visually impaired:

Have equal access to educational

blind resources

Independent living skills

Promote self-determination and self-

advocacy of adult who are blind or visually

impaired throughout Santa Fe and

surrounding communities in New Mexico

To assist family members and caregivers

and/or sight guides in providing services

and assistance to the blind.

In addition, the Vision Beyond the Cane Resource Center will

partner with other local and state and national organizations to

ensure that adults who are blind and/or visually impaired are

provided the opportunity to achieve maximum potential.
